Ugotfeels Farm Jack Cover

Ugotfeels Farm Jack Cover

Part #:

I needed to replace my Hi-Lift brand jack cover and had tried a replacement one that the wife got me for christmas one year that was not of the quality I expect from Hi-Lift. It was to tight and the zipper immediately bent itself apart when I tried to zip it up. It ended up in the trash can. Now I really like the Hi-Lift cover, and almost thought about trying to get a new zipper sewn into that one, but the cost wasn't worth it. So I searched for a replacement, when I saw this one on Amazon. I figured it couldn't be any worse than the one from Hi-Lift. First impression was wow this thing is huge in comparison, and misshappen. It does have extra padding for wear in the area that the locking pins are located on the Jack, but overall it is a thinner neoprene than the Hi-Lift jack version. Overall I like the fit, but think the ends could be sewn smaller to hug the jacks shaft better. I haven't seen any water get into the mechanism yet and we have had a few torrential down pours. No fadding yet, but I only put it on in March 2021

Parts:
This is what comes in the package. Ugotfeels seems like a play on AOL's UgotMail. You can clearly see the extra sewn in padding area.

Installation:
1. Okay, it's as simple as slip it over the jack mechanism and zip it shut. No struggle because it is to tight.
Mounted on the vehicle.

Common Sense and Safety should always be observed when working on your vehicle or doing modifications. Jackstands, wheel blocks, disconnecting the battery are a few of the basic safety precautions that should be used and may not be mentioned in the write ups on this site. You are responsible for your own installation, these write ups are a helpful guideline and should not be taken as an official installation instruction. My write up may be different from the kits currently out there, so alwasy double check the manufacturers installation instructions when installing anything. I try to keep the site up to date with changes that have occured as I discover them, but may not have the latest unless someone lets me know. If you feel that an install is above your capabilities after reading my write ups, I recommend getting together with a club and getting some help. Only a few times have I needed to employe some actual help from a shop to get something done. Usually welding or A/C work. While I have spent many years working on mechanical systems, I am not an expert, nor do I pretend to be one. I hope these write ups have been useful to you.
